Training Towers (Click for location list)
The strength of WHP lies in the strength of our towers. Over 25 years ago, WHP found the strongest steel structure on the market, then made it even stronger by adding a secondary framing system. Well-proven in the field, we have used these pre-engineered buildings to provide our clients with the strongest live fire training building on the market.
Realistic Training Conditions Strength The support strength of a Behlen steel panel can equal that of a steel girder of the same length and weight. Our buildings use the exclusive "compound" corrugation process which roll forms sheet steel into 4-1/2" deep corrugations embedded with a series of smaller corrugations, making it stronger. We use galvanized steel wall panels in a minimum thickness of 18 gauge, thicker than many frame building panels on the market. Panels are powder-coated to provide the optimum long-term finish. They are joined together with 3/8" diameter bolts (each capable of supporting 1400 pounds) with polyethylene washers at 6" intervals. The corrugated panels form a weather-tight, load-bearing shell. Seams are lapped and sealed with top quality strip caulking, making the interior dark for realistic training. Surfaces are clear and clean for aesthetic appeal, low maintenance and functionality. Our structures can meet all U.S. seismic requirements as well as Southern Florida Building Codes, the most stringent wind load requirements in the country. Our training towers are built to last, and we will back that up with our new 5-year warranty. Click here for a full list of optional features available for WHP towers. |
