Training Tower Options

The key to getting the training you need is customization, building into your building the components that your trainees will encounter in your community.

Roofs
Flat, single slope, dual pitch, or dual unequal pitch roofs are available for multiple vertical ventilation training experiences. We can provide a working surface on an annex and chop outs. In addition, we offer several different roof surfaces, including metal, tile and composition asphalt shingles.

Brick Exterior
Since 2000, WHP has offered mortarless brick exterior, in 12 different colors to improve the look of the training facility, match surrounding buildings and create a more realistic environment.

Ladders
WHP strives to offer options to simulate conditions your team may face. Ladder options include caged, ship’s, vertical and bilco hatch.

Exterior Stairs, Balconies & Attics
Open up a new training evolution for rescue and aerial work with scissor stairs, 8 column stairs and stairwells on each floor. Add a balcony to any opening, with or without stairs.  Open floors/patios and attic crawl spaces can add even further training evolutions for your department. 

Windows & Doors
Place as many windows and doors in any location you choose. Single, double, garage and power jamb doors are available.

Elevator Shaft
Accomplish elevator rescue, high-angled and rope rescue evolutions with this feature.

Simulators and Smoke Systems

WHP works with the major suppliers of gas fired simulators to offer seamless integration of these training aids into your building.  Choose from a variety of props including stove, oven, bedroom, roll-over and more. WHP can also design a smoke distribution system that will enhance search and rescue training.

Standpipe & Sprinkler System
Systems are available in the entire building, or just in parts you want them.

Confined Spaces
Metal or composite tubing is available for shaft, horizontal, manhole or a combination of confined spaces.

Moveable Mazes
Adjust panels to create new training scenarios.

Rappelling Anchors
WHP offers a variety of rappelling options including rappelling rings, rappelling bars and heavy-duty forged swivel rappelling anchors. Rappelling anchors are capable of five to ten thousand pounds.
